In 1998, inspired by the magical energy of Lake Atitlán, Louise created San Marcos Holistic Centre and since then she has been teaching and giving treatments in a broad range of massage and holistic therapies. She is an internationally accredited instructor in Kinesiology and Bach Flower Remedies. She teaches in both English and Spanish and is available to teach in San Marcos and elsewhere.
Louise also feels a deep resonance with the native wisdom of her adoptive land, Guatemala, the land of the Maya. Over the last few years she has been studying with local ajq`ijab, Mayan spiritual guides, sharing sacred fire ceremony with them and investigating concepts of Mayan energetic equilibrium, sacred time and space, cosmology and calendars.

Etai has been studying and practicing a variety of holistic health modalities since his early twenties. He began with an extensive course in Swedish massage followed by many years of experience working in several spas in Israel. Also in Israel he was a Rebirthing facilitator on a national and international level. In 1998 Etai left Israel for a long journey around the world, starting off by crossing Australia on a bicycle. During his travels he focused on living and learning from different cultures around the globe and in 2001 he ended up living and working as an artistic sound engineer in Amsterdam. Whilst living in Europe Etai was searching for a scientific yet down to earth method which could create real change for people in a fast and effective way. He found this when he studied Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy at the Uncommon Knowledge School in Brighton, England. After graduating top of his class Etai opened his clinic in Amsterdam and worked successfully with many clients. Etai is happy to be able to share his talents here in San Marcos to help people to have a better quality of life.

Through a compassionate & gentle approach to holistic therapies, I focus on creating trust, connection, and communication in all of my treatments. Each session begins with a short conversation to help determine which combination of therapies we will use to create a rejuvenating experience that will bring harmony & balance into your life.
My approach to self-healing involves ´listening´to the physical body to determine how to bring peace & harmony to our mind, body, & emotions. I use a wide variety of holistic techniques from the Far East, mostly based on ancient Chinese & Japanese healing therapies and the Indian chakra system.
Helping others live a more balanced, joyful, & healthy life is my passion, and I feel very blessed to be able to share this passion right where I discovered it - here in San Marcos!
I received most of my training at the Flower House Therapy Center (San Marcos), grew up in Philadelphia, and have spent the last five years in Los Angeles, working as an actor, singer, & dancer.

Marta participated in the Health and Healing Program at Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado in 1987 and conducted workshops in prenatal massage for nurses in a health clinic in Nicaragua in 1990.
Since 1997 she has lived in Guatemala where she worked as part of integral development and health teams interweaving a focus on empowerment for indigenous communities through the sale of crafts, education, herbal maya medicine, and mental health projects.
Recently she switched her focus regarding empowerment to explore the healing energy she has felt in her hands for decades and studied and graduated from the Teishin Institute in Panajachel, Guatemala where she studied massage, acupressure, teishin (“needle-less acupuncture”), and Chi Nei Tsang (Chinese internal organ massage of the stomach).
Marta enjoys sharing in the healing journey, exploring how to work with oneself and others to change one´s lifestyle and learn things one can do for themselves to live pain free without medication, feel more vital, and use one´s talents for the benefit of self and others.
